Dried plums on Oprah’s list of six healthy antioxidant foods!

As part of Oprah’s “Live Your Best Life” series that kicked off the New Year, Oprah and Dr. Mehmet Oz revealed the Ultimate Health Checklist. Dried plums were short-listed among the six most healthy antioxidant foods.

Dr. Oz recommends filling your grocery cart with high antioxidant foods such as tomatoes, broccoli, kidney beans, blueberries, artichokes and prunes. “Whatever has that deep color like a blueberry, you know it’s rich in antioxidants,” he says.

Oprah’s star health advisor urges us to “Try to eat five to seven servings of these foods every day.”
